SandCherry Announces Voice Solutions With BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1

BOULDER, CO - SandCherry Inc., a provider of multi-service broker software for extending applications to phone, mobile, and multimodal devices, announced that the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform leverages SandCherry's AppDev VXML and SoftServer platform, designed to provide a simple and cost-effective way to incorporate advanced speech capabilities into Web applications. This announcement supports the general availability of BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1, an integrated platform that provides superior business integration through the convergence of application development and integration, from BEA Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: BEAS), an infrastructure software company. SandCherry's AppDev VXML is designed to integrate with BEA WebLogic Workshop and allow service providers and enterprises development and integration of converged applications for Web and phone users. According to SandCherry, applications deployed on BEA WebLogic Server are designed to incorporate both touch-tone and voice controls for phone and multimodal devices using the SoftServer platform, increasing the reach of applications while reducing costs for customer service, content portal, and network services solutions.
