Selectron Technologies, a provider of interactive voice, Web, and mobile solutions to the government marketplace and utilities, and Voxeo announced that Voxeo's CXP application life cycle management suite and Prophecy IVR platform will be integrated into Selectron Technologies' communication platform, providing Selectron customers with enhanced multichannel self-service solutions.

The companies will provide government and utility companies with scalability and performance of self-service applications, including voice, Web, social, and mobile interactions for processing information, notifications, payments, and more. With the partnership, Selectron will be broadening its offerings and extend into new markets as well as across enterprise agencies. In addition to offering full multichannel self-service capabilities, Voxeo's technology will improve Selectron's Web-based administration, offer advanced speech and enhanced call control support, and enable more than 10 times the performance of typical IVR platforms, the companies said.

"By offering our technologies in an integrated solution, government and utilities can better serve their customers in the channel of their preference, whether it be voice, Web, or mobile, with much greater efficiencies and lower total cost of ownership," said Clayton Reed, executive vice president of sales and operations for Voxeo, in a statement.
