BigInfo English allows access to 3,000 accidentally selected and disassociated records from the United States. It allows English native speakers to encounter the abilities of an automatic directory assistant. The German version of BigInfo which is already available spans 700,000 disassociated records from Southern Germany and shows the availability of huge grammars in the speech recognition for the first time in Germany within a public available application. The purpose of BigInfo is the automation of directory assistant services. The providers of such services have to be in a concentrating market with strict legislative context, in Europe. For this reason, the cost reduction and the elevation of call volumes combined with a constant level of quality is an essential competitive edge.
