GALWAY, IRELAND - SyberNet Ltd, the speech applications and services provider, are developing and sell speech recognition applications specifically tailored for the Irish market. The Irish company has developed a suite of business applications called SyberVOX to act as an automated "virtual receptionist" that answers the phone, recognizes spoken names and transfers calls efficiently like a telephone receptionist. John Melody, CEO of SyberNet commented: "We have now completed a number of successful implementations in Ireland. When we developed SyberVOX we concentrated on designing a fast and accurate speech solution that will provide increased customer-caller satisfaction and help reduce operational costs at client sites".
