Targex Chooses Loquendo Technology

Targex selected Loquendo's text-to-speech to speech-enable its vehicle-tracking product "Eagle Eye Embedded AVL Unit." The Loquendo embedded text-to-speech software will enable Targex customers to enjoy natural sounding speech output from their on-board vehicle equipment. 

The Loquendo text-to-speech synthesis engine uses the "Unit Selection" concatenative technique on a range of sound samples. With its continuing new voices production Loquendo offers features such as, portability, natural timbre, intonation, and pronunciation accuracy.
