Telelogue Adds to Senior Leadership Team

ISELIN, NJ - Telelogue, the provider voice automation of directory assistance (DA) for telecommunications providers, disclosed that it had broadened the directory assistance expertise on its senior leadership team over the last few months. "Our senior team demonstrates a breadth of DA experience and skills that deepen our focus on the DA market," said Robert W. Burke, Telelogue's CEO. "Our industry specific experience will help Telelogue better anticipate the business concerns of our customers and partners, and engender thoughtful discussions on business matters relevant to running a DA business unit with the benefit of our best-in-class directory assistance automation." Telelogue's commitment to the directory assistance market includes the addition of the following industry experts to its senior leadership team: Phil Voelker, vice president of sales. Phil has had a long and successful career in directory assistance, at CCI/Nortel, and then at First Data. Phil understands the intricacies of the directory assistance business, and has successfully managed complex, multi-year, multi-million dollar per year directory assistance contracts for both system sales and wholesale DA and operator services. Phil's experience at Nortel and First Data, and with DA customers such as MCI, Sprint, Alltell and Qwest, will further strengthen the relationship between Telelogue and its partners, and will facilitate a speedy, thoughtful deployment of its automation. Dan Gilmore, director of sales. Dan has over 25 years of experience in the computer and communications industries. Dan is a known leader in the sales and marketing of technology-based systems to the RBOCs and other local and long distance communications carriers, and previously held the position of Vice President of Sales for CCI and for First Data's Teleservices Business Unit. Dan sold the first CCI mechanized directory assistance system, which was to Indiana Bell Telephone Company, and also sold that system to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. The SBC implementation covered the entire SBC service area. Dave Miller, senior advisor to the CEO and Advisory Board Member. Dave has over 35+ years experience in the telephone industry. During his career he has worked in various positions with AT&T and Bell Operating Companies. For the past 20+ years he has held executive positions in Northwestern Bell, USWEST and Qwest Communications in the Operator Services and Director Services areas. His last position was that of VP Operator Services for Qwest Communications with responsibilities for the overall business unit, which included its operations, labor relations, marketing, regulatory strategies and sales. Mel Meskin, board member. Mel has 31+ years of telephone industry experience. During his successful career, he held several positions at New York Telephone, Nynex, Bell Atlantic, and Verizon. His most recent executive position was chief financial officer, National Operations at Verizon. Previously, at NYNEX, Mel was responsible for overseeing strategic planning, business development, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and served as vice president - Finance and Treasurer for NYNEX Telecommunications. In this role, and in his position as Comptroller of Nynex and Bell Atlantic, he routinely evaluated the financial implications of DA technology initiatives.
