TransTech Medical Solutions Selects M*Modal for Documentation

TransTech Medical Solutions has selected M*Modal Fluency for Transcription to deliver advanced medical transcription solutions to its hospital and healthcare customers.

As part of the agreement, TransTech will roll out M*Modal Fluency for Transcription's cloud-based transcription services to all of its new clients.

"We are proud to be selected by TransTech to deliver industry-leading quality transcription services to its growing base of healthcare clients," said Vern Davenport, chairman and CEO of M*Modal, in a statement. "Our leading cloud-based technology, combined with TransTech's reputation for providing best-in-class service, exemplifies our shared focus and determination to bring healthcare organizations the best and latest technology solutions."

Announced in May, M*Modal Fluency for Transcription is a cloud-based solution for dictation capture, speech recognition editing, electronic signature, and document distribution to optimize clinical information workflow, speed up the revenue cycle, help achieve HIPAA and regulatory compliance, as well as help meet Meaningful Use and electronic health record requirements.

"About a year ago we began exploring new clinical documentation platforms so that we could offer a complete solution to our hospital and healthcare clients. Having had a lot of experience in the speech recognition space, we were very familiar with M*Modal's impressive work in this space and were excited to learn about the Fluency family of clinical solutions," said Sidney (Trey) Weiss, CEO of TransTech, in the statement.

"In our evaluation of M*Modal Fluency for Transcription, we found it incomparable to secondary technologies on-market, from its scalability, uptime, and the quality of the documentation to the opportunities it affords our customers in maximizing their own productivity. M*Modal Fluency for Transcription is unmatched by other industry offerings, and we are excited to make it available to some of the country's largest and most prestigious healthcare organizations," said Tracy Boesch, president and chief operations officer at TransTech.
