Vialto and SandCherry Team to Deliver Scalable Voice-Driven Multimodal Applications

ORLANDO, FL - Vialto Corp., the multimodal applications company, and SandCherry Inc, a communications software company, announced they have joined forces to provide voice-driven multimodal solutions for carriers and enterprises. Vialto's Server products incorporate a suite of voice-driven, multimodal applications that are based on the VoiceXML standard, and deliver interactive access to aggregated personal and corporate information, to mobile professionals. On 2G networks, a combination of intuitive voice commands and Short Message Service (SMS) helps wireless business professionals search for, retrieve, reply-to and forward email; look up and forward contact information; voice-dial from personal and corporate directories; retrieve and schedule appointments; access intranet and corporate applications; and be proactively reminded of meetings or alerted to calendar changes. Through the SoftServer platform's resource management, enterprises and Communication Service Providers (CSPs) can share hardware and software resources across a variety of different applications. Resources can be added to the system incrementally to support additional applications and users.
