Virtual Hold Technology Joins Forces With GM Voices

Virtual Hold Technology, a provider of virtual queuing solutions, has entered into a partnership with GM Voices, a producer of professionally recorded voice prompts and greetings for telecom applications worldwide. GM Voices now produces audio files for VHT's virtual queuing solutions for the contact center.

Companies around the world implement Virtual Hold solutions  to virtually eliminate hold time in the contact center. When there's hold time, the Virtual Hold solution offers customers the option of hanging up the phone and receiving a call back in the same amount of time as if they'd waited on hold. The Virtual Hold solution then initiates a call back when it's the customer's turn to speak to an agent. GM Voices now provides the male and female prerecorded voices that guide and prompt callers using those enhanced customer experience options.

"VHT's virtual queuing solutions provide customers with options for managing their time, and the way those options are presented is important to the customer's perception of the company," said Marcus Graham, CEO and founder of GM Voices. "We know how to make automated greetings and menus feel more like conversations that contribute significantly to a positive caller experience. Our natural-sounding voices add depth and clarity to the Virtual Hold solution, and that really appeals to the customer-focused companies that deploy VHT."

GM Voices records thousands of messages every day using dozens of voice actors from the world of drama. Clients simply choose a voice consistent with their brand, email their scripts, and then receive ready-to-use speech files in the format required by their platform. The company provides voice recording and translation services in more than 100 languages and dialects.

"We've worked with GM Voices to provide a friendly voice as a default option, which is perfect for some of our clients. It can be time-consuming and expensive to audition and hire talent and then produce your own audio files. This partnership enables us to protect our clients' brand while keeping their costs down," said Jeremy Starcher, VHT's vice president of business development. "And for those clients who want to tailor their customers' experiences even more, our partnership opens the door for them to start their own relationship with GM Voices."

GM Voices and VHT began their partnership in late 2010.
