VoiceObjects Establishes Subsidiary in the US; TeleSoft Partners Takes a Four-million-euro Stake in VoiceObjects AG

/>COLOGNE , Germany and BOSTON , Mass. - VoiceObjects AG has opened an Americas subsidiary to expand within the US, Canada , and South American markets. As a subsidiary of the German headquarters, the new US office will be located in the Boston area (Burlington , Mass. ).

This new entity, VoiceObjects Inc., will be under the leadership of Troy Kamphuis, vice president of sales North America . Also appointed to the newly formed management team are Holger Stoltze and Todd Coutu. Mr. Stoltze will direct the regional professional service division, while Todd Coutu, director of marketing, will be responsible for all marketing activities in the Americas .

VoiceObjects AG announces a new investor. TeleSoft Partners, a US-Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm specializing in information and communication technologies, is acquiring a four-million-euro stake from T-Venture, the venture capital arm of Deutsche Telekom AG. T-Venture, as well as, the T-Com Venture Fund had participated in the second round of financing for VoiceObjects at the end of April this year. T-Venture is now transferring a part of this second investment to TeleSoft Partners as planned (T-Venture is a strategic corporate investor in TeleSoft Fund II). T-Venture opened up this slot for TeleSoft to allow for a US investor in the syndicate to help US growth. Shareholders of VoiceObjects agreed to the transfer during the second financing round. T-Venture and T-Com Venture Fund remain one of VoiceObjects' key investors. Further investors in this second round of financing are SAP Ventures and Wellington Partners.
