ZyDoc Integrates Software into Toshiba Solutions

HAUPPAUGE, NY - ZyDoc announced it will be working with Toshiba's Computer Systems Group (CSG) to help medical practices and hospitals deploy wireless network solutions. As part of the Toshiba Mobile Productivity Solutions, the ZyDoc Automated Medical Documentation Solutions Bundle will be available pre-tested and pre-loaded on Toshiba's Magnia® Z310 wireless server and Portégé® 3500 Tablet PC. The solutions provide all the hardware and software needed to help companies install and manage a wireless network, giving physicians access to patient data while working in the office or from the road. This all-in-one solution also provides a speech recognition feature and simplified user interface specifically designed to meet the demands of a medical professional. The SpeechDoc EMR application is utilizes many of the Tablet PC's technologies, such as speech recognition, pen stylus with touch screen and digital inking, keyboard and touch mouse. ZyDoc's multimodal features offer physicians flexibility to choose the most efficient mode of data entry. Doctors can become more productive by capturing the clinical encounter and delivering the information whenever and wherever they need it. The ZyDoc Automated Medical Documentation Solutions Bundle includes multispecialty SpeechDoc EMR™ software. It is integrated with ZipDoc™, an e-Transcription service software with telephone and digital handheld recorders for physicians who prefer to maintain their current work habits. The package also contains Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional 7, ZyDoc Medical Vocabularies for Dragon, ZipIt™ dictation and transcription interface and the ZyDoc Medical Spell-Checker. Completed records are organized within SpeechDoc EMR and are accessible from almost anywhere using a Internet browser with the secure TrackDoc™ Web-based Chart Management System. Multimedia training is provided along with an extensive library of specialty specific forms. Available soon, Toshiba's Protégé 3500 Tablet PC loaded with ZyDoc Automated Medical Documentation Solutions will start at $5,360 for a single Tablet PC while the Toshiba Magnia Z310 server preloaded with ZyDoc software will start at $7,525. These solutions will be available through Toshiba's traditional distribution channels and from ZyDoc dealers.
