Loquendo this week launched a new CreateYourDemo service to help voice application developers to create, test, and demonstrate their VoiceXML-based voice applications leveraging Loquendo speech technologies.

With CreateYourDemo, developers can try out their applications while evaluating the functionalities of Loquendo's TTS, ASR, and VoxNauta platform without having to install them on their own equipment. This gives developers the additional advantage of having access to regularly updated speech resources, with all supported languages and voices available as required.

The new online service delivers Loquendo speech technologies via SaaS, by means of the Loquendo VoxNauta voice platform, which provides access to voice applications via PSTN or VoIP, and hosted by Loquendo.

The developer hosts the VoiceXML application on his or her own server, and can then test it, involving existing customers if desired, interacting with the demo via phone, SIP phone, or Skype. To get started, the developer simply enters the Application Server address (the URL of his VoiceXML application home page) in the CreateYourDemo restricted area on the Loquendo Web site.

Access to the CreateYourDemo restricted area is for all Loquendo customers and partners.
