
Istanbul (Turkey) - Akbank, one of the largest banks in Turkey, successfully launched a new set of customer services through the use of video and 3G mobile channel.
Hakan Binbagil, assistant general manager of Akbank, announced that from now on it is possible to follow daily market commentaries with their technological character Simge (”Icon” in Turkish).
“Through this innovative technology, the comments you read on the Internet are delivered as video to your mobile devices," Binbagil explained. "You will not be listening to call center operators for minutes anymore. We thoroughly used avatar technology whose character’s name is Simge. Now Akbank’s customers will be able to follow daily market commentaries through this character that is represented as a stock market specialist”.
The Akbank’s project has been realized by ITD, H-care’s partner in Turkey.
