Eckoh Wins Contract with Orbital Marketing
The new deal covers the provision of the EckohPAY payment solution to its contact centers.
Hemel Hempstead (8/24/2011) -

Eckoh, a provider of customer service solutions using speech recognition, has signed a new contract with Orbital Marketing Services Group for the provision of a PCI DSS compliant payment solution to its contact center division, Orbital Response.

Orbital Response  is one of the UK’s largest specialist response and fulfilment providers, with offices in Ashford, Kent, and Rushden in Northamptonshire. Orbital provides outsourced services on behalf of its clients, including mail order/home shopping sales, donation processing for charities, and membership management schemes; either by telephone, online, email, or post.

Eckoh’s real-time PCI compliant payment solution, EckohPAY, is due to be deployed in September. EckohPAY will allow callers to make card payments over the phone. By automating payments, the service will increase the efficiency of Orbital’s UK based contact centre agents by freeing them up to service more complex calls. The service will securely authenticate the caller using the customer’s invoice number and will then allow the customer to make payments toward one or more invoices in a single transaction. On successful payment authorization, confirmation will be provided to the caller.
