March 26, 2009, Chicago, IL – March 24, 2009, Chicago, IL – Grundig Business Systems (GBS), a provider of professional dictation systems, is launching a new dictation software line, DigtaSoft One, at the end of March. This professional speech processing software complements the German company’s line of dictation software. Until now, GBS customers had a choice between two models, DigtaSoft and DigtaSoft Pro.

“With DigtaSoft One, we’ve successfully honed functions down to the essentials, and simplified the installation process as well,” according to GBS managing director Roland Hollstein. “This will simplify the initial step into the field of digital dictation."

The new software includes essential recording and play-back functions. In addition to dictation play-back in DSS, DSS Pro, and .WAV formats, dictations can be recorded and processed quite simply in DSS and DSS Pro Standard format. The user can mark and erase individual passages, and also insert new passages into an existing dictation.

DigtaSoft One is compatible with the speech recognition systems Dragon NaturallySpeaking by Nuance Communications and SpeaKING by MediaInterface. Further, DigtaSoft One offers the same high level of data security as DigtaSoft and DigtaSoft Pro by encrypting individual dictations in DSS Pro. And it’s always possible to upgrade to DigtaSoft or DigtaSoft Pro.

• DigtaSoft One: focusing on essential recording and play-back functions, simplifying the initial step into the field of digital dictation


• DigtaSoft: enables workflow management encompassing numerous dictation files, and a wide range of possible set-ups


• DigtaSoft Pro: for an even wider range of possibilities in workflow management, with substantial extra functions (such as multiple inboxes) for higher efficiency in dictation processing, also with a Windows terminal server and Citrix (for dictating professionals).
