Lyrix, a provider of enterprise-focused communications-as-a-service (CaaS) solutions to small and midsize businesses and Fortune 50 Companies worldwide, announced today that Telesphere has extended its use of Lyrix’s Mobiso Suite to power its new Speak2Dial service.
With Speak2Dial, users can dial by voice from their office or cell phones to co-workers by pressing a preprogrammed button on their phones and speaking the names of the people they are trying to reach. Since the directory is hosted in the 'cloud', users no longer have to continuously sync their mobile phones and other directories when the directory is updated. Users can also access voicemail by simply saying, 'Voicemail,' and the system prompts for user credentials. They can connect with the press of a button by adding the Speak2Dial company directory access number as a one-click soft-key, mobile phone favorite or desk phone direct extension, and create shortcuts to connect, like 'Operator,' 'IT Helpdesk' or 'Technical Support' to reach company departments without knowing a specific party's name. They also can ensure safety while driving by eliminating the need to fumble through their mobile phones' directories. With Speak2Dial saved as a shortcut, users can access their entire directories with the push of one button.
Lyrix’s Mobiso Suite provides a range of cloud based enterprise communications applications, including Hosted Speech Assistant, Hosted Phonebook 2.0, and real-time Wireless Expense Management solutions fully integrated into a single multitenant based platform. Powered by Mobiso, Telesphere's Speak2Dial business customers will be able to use a speech-enabled auto attendant solution with Lyrix’s patented PeopleFind technology to fundamentally change the way their business communicates.
"Telesphere's Speak2Dial is one of the most useful voice services to be offered to the hosted VoIP market to date, enabling businesses that use Telesphere's fully hosted and customizable VoIP systems to gain a competitive advantage in the ways they service their customers," said Stewart Hampton, marketing director at Lyrix. "This service offering should permit companies to create a numberless enterprise, allowing employees to be increasingly mobile and still reachable all while maintaining personal phone number privacy. Even with employee churn that would negatively impact recognition performance with some SEAA solutions, PeopleFind Day2 Linguistics - available only from Lyrix - ensures continuous speech recognition improvement over time.”
