Miami Valley Hospital Signs on with Language Access Network

DAYTON, Ohio -- Miami Valley Hospital, an 848-bed hospital here, hassigned a two-year service agreement with Language Access Network forMARTTI (My Accessible Real Time Trusted Interpreter), a livevideo/audio interpretation service.

Language Access Network’s MARTTI service will provide the hospital with live video/audio conference-based interpretation services for up to 150 languages, including American Sign Language, to aid it with its more than 800,000 patient encounters a year.

Miami Valley Hospital will be billed for the video/audio interpretation service on a per minute usage fee, with a minimum usage requirement of 1,000 minutes a month.
