COLLEGE PARK, MD - LogicTree Corporation (LogicTree), a provider of multi-modal voice and data access systems, and Bo Tveden Systems A/S (BTS), a developer of Directory Assistance solutions, jointly announced general availability of the BTS Enhanced Information Server, featuring speech-enabled and fully multimodal Directory Assistance (DA), as well as other Enhanced Services. "Over the past 20 years BTS has deployed leading edge Directory Assistance solutions to Carriers and Corporations world-wide. With a market share in the global top five and Directory Assistance technology widely considered to be leading the market place in terms of flexibility and efficiency, we believe that BTS is ideally positioned to emerge as the global technology leader in Next Generation Enhanced Information Services for fixed line and wireless carriers," said Fred Korangy, CEO, LogicTree. Niels-Arne Baden, CEO, Bo Tveden Systems, added: "In LogicTree we found an ideal partner with a unique, proven technology - their multi-modal M3T VoxLinx solution is truly impressive. Furthermore we found it seamless to integrate VoxLinx into our DA solutions where it serves as a technology platform - not only for Automatic Directory Assistance solutions based on speech recognition, but for other new services as well. In a world where mobility is becoming a mantra, users require easy access to a wide range of information and services wherever they are and in whichever form they need - as voice, sms, mail, or on screen. The multi-modal VoxLinx platform integrated with BTS' systems and knowledge on enhanced DA and information service solutions offers exactly that. The system is flexible and can be expanded gradually. It serves as a migration path allowing for our customers to launch new revenue generating services, to develop their business, and to prevail in the rapidly growing information services industry."
