Muraspec Selects Telephonetics
Muraspec selects Telephonetics' ContactPortal® - a virtual operator that takes, makes, screens and transfers calls using speech recognition.
Muraspec is a part of Omnova Group of the USA. Muraspec is a European contract wall-covering company. The company's core business customers include hospitals, banks, corporate HQs and hotels.
Telephonetics' ContactPortal® answers calls 24 hours a day and allows callers to say the name of their desired contact to be connected to the correct destination. Installed at Muraspecs' head office in Hemel Hempstead, the system will answer all external calls.
"We were extremely impressed with the accuracy rates of the ContactPortal® in recognizing callers' requests," explained Frank McGuckian, IT manager, Muraspec.

Muraspec staff, based at both Hemel Hempstead and the company's production facility in East Peckham, Kent, will be able to call any member of staff, supplier or distributor by saying the name of the person they wish to call.
