NeoSpeech Updates Spanish Female TTS Voice

NeoSpeech, a provider of text-to-speech (TTS) software and speech-enabled solutions, has updated its Spanish language female text-to-speech voice "Violeta" to support users on a 64-bit platform.

By using the newly updated NeoSpeech Violeta voice, users can now use text-to-speech software on Windows 7 and Windows 8.

"Spanish language support is very important to our customers for so many applications and uses, and we plan to keep Violeta on the cutting-edge to meet this demand," said NeoSpeech CEO Christopher Moon in a statement.

Violeta speaks "neutral" Latin American Spanish, and has been featured in Spanish learning education programs, personal assistant apps, Web services, telephony servers, and iPhone and Android apps.

Violeta's Spanish language male counterpart, Francisco, will be released later this summer.
