iMakeNews Appoints Jo Ellen Collins as Marketing VP

IMN (iMakeNews), an e-communications service provider, appointed Jo Ellen Collins as vice president of marketing.

Before joining IMN, Collins was director, marketing communications with Nuance Communications, (formerly ScanSoft, Inc.) where she grew the company's presence among Global 1000 companies and key targeted accounts. Before Nuance Communications, she was director, channel and customer marketing for Workscape. Previously, she served as a marketing and business development consultant to Brooks-PRI Automation. She also held executive-level positions in marketing, advertising and client services with CMGI,  True Software, Molecular Simulations, and Computervision. As vice president of client services at Engage, she was instrumental in growing Engage Media into a $50 million business in 24 months.

Collins holds an master's degree in marketing from Babson College and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Humboldt State University. She completed additional studies in direct marketing at Bentley College.
