Rhetoric Launches rVoice 4.0

Rhetorical, a developer of TTS solutions, announced the launch of rVoice 4.0 at the SpeechTEK Exposition and Conference.

The latest version of rVoice provides enhanced language and voice capabilities, along with features that will help to reduce costs, increase revenues and build brand awareness.

"Studies show that people associate certain personalities with voices, and have specific reactions to voices based on qualities such as gender or accent," said Marc Moens, CEO of Rhetorical. "With rVoice4.0, our goal is to enable our customers to create highly customized voices that essentially become part of the personality, or branding, of their companies or products."

The enhanced language and voice capabilities in rVoice4.0, combined with Rhetorical's expertise in creating custom voices, provide customers with a personalized voice to suit their specific applications. By selecting the right voice for an application, customers can improve end users' perceptions of the overall company brand, as well as its products or services. In the long term, this can lead to increased revenues. rVoice can be deployed across a wide range of applications to deliver news, driving directions, weather forecasts and financial information. Some of the modules included in the new release include U.S. navigation and address modules. The addition of these new modules enables rVoice4.0 to correctly pronounce all U.S. addresses, ensuring that American customers understand and feel comfortable with the voices that provide them with information.

"The U.S. is one of our largest and most critical markets," added Moens. "The addition of navigation and address modules specifically designed for the U.S. is key to our successful expansion here."
