SRC unveiled two new hosted speech recognition based services to the call center environment - SRC ContactCapture and SRC PaymentCapture.

SRC ContactCapture allows UK residential names and addresses to be captured, while SRC PaymentCapture collects credit card and debit card payment details, obtain real-time bank authorization (APACS 30) and action the transaction settlement (APACS 29) where required. These applications enable companies to take advantage of speech recognition technology that automates the handling of requests for information and standard payment transactions, allowing call center agents to concentrate their time on less mundane tasks. The benefits of the new services include reduced operational costs for each payment or information capture transaction; reduced call queuing; no missed calls and a hassle-free managed outsource service.
