Loquendo today introduced Mikko, the new male Finnish voice. He joins Milla, the company's female Finnish voice released last October.

Loquendo TTS now offers five different voices for the Scandinavian market, in Danish, Finnish and Swedish. As with all Loquendo voices, the Finnish voices come with a variety of memory footprints for telephony, multimedia and embedded applications , all with the same core engine and the same wide range of expressive voices and languages.

Loquendo TTS is currently available in 26 languages with 62 voices: U.S. and U.K. English, Finnish, Russian, Danish, Swedish, American Spanish, Mexican, Chilean and Argentinian Spanish, Castilian, Catalan, Valencian, Galician, Brazilian, Portuguese, Italian, Esperanto, German, French, Canadian French, Dutch, Greek, Turkish, Polish and Mandarin Chinese in both male and female voices, with more under development all the time.
