NMS Communications Partners With OlenCom

— NMS Communications (NASDAQ: NMSS) expanded the reach of its AccessGate™ backhaul optimization solution by partnering with OlenCom Electronics, a Russian-based developer and marketer of data and telecommunications solutions.

NMS's AccessGate solution optimizes GSM networks by eliminating redundant silence and idle frames, resulting in backhaul traffic reductions.  AccessGate can also aggregate UMTS traffic onto the same backhaul, eliminating the need for deploying and maintaining separate 2G and 3G networks.  This allows operators to continue to expand their networks without having to overhaul or replace existing infrastructure.
