NMS Communications Signs OEM Agreement with Nuance
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - NMS Communications (NASDAQ: NMSS) announced the signing of an OEM agreement with Nuance (NASDAQ: NUAN) as the primary provider of speech software licenses in conjunction with NMS' enhanced services offerings. These offerings include Open Access standards-based, IP-enabled system building blocks for next-generation voice, video and data services and HearSay, the open, multi-application enhanced services delivery system.
Now, developers of network or enterprise speech solutions, such as voice-activated dialing, customer care, information lines and e-mail reading, can turn to NMS as a single source for all the elements needed to bring to market applications that give callers more efficient phone-based interactions.
