The Sphera Assessments mobile app lets workers report operational risks with their mobile devices.
Sphera, a provider of operational risk, environmental performance, and product stewardship software and information services, has launched the Sphera Assessments mobile application to enable users of the Sphera Impact enterprise operational risk management solution to perform and synchronize event reporting, field observations, and status updates with their mobile phones and speech-to-text technology.
Sphera Assessments also takes employees through the revision and approval workflows directly from their mobile devices. Using speech-to-text with the app, workers can record observations without having to type on their mobile devices. Additionally, field employees can seamlessly complement their reports with pictures or recorded videos and audio statements. The app also allows users to identify and address potential risks at any organizational level, integrate root cause analysis with preventive measures, and assign and track actions.
"The new mobile app empowers field employees to be able to report observations or perform audits and capture data on the spot," said Andy Hosman, Sphera's vice president of operational risk, in a statement. "This results in assessments taking less time to complete, and they'll help paint a more-complete picture. They are also able to save a partial assessment report of any type as a work-in-progress, get on with their work, and complete the report at a later time, helping drive efficiencies and adoption of safety reporting initiatives."
The Sphera Assessments app is available for iOS 9.0 or higher, Android 4.4 or higher, and Sphera Impact 6.2.7 or higher.
