Agilysys Chooses Vangard MVP to Voice-Power NextVision Retail Suite

Vangard Voice Systems will voice-enable a wide selection of Agilysys’ retail solutions. Vangard’s Mobile Voice Platform (MVP) now is used to voice-enable applications offered in Agilisys' NextVision Web-based mobile and wireless retail software suite. Customers using NextVision now can further optimize retail operations by selecting optional voice-powered capabilities for data entry, application function commands, and navigation capabilities.

Agilysys chose Vangard’s Mobile Voice Platform for its ability to quickly and non-invasively add sophisticated voice capabilities to the company’s Web-based retail applications. NextVision mobile and wireless solutions can now deliver complete device-resident voice capabilities on a wide variety of mobile devices.

These initial NextVision applications include sophisticated, voice-directed capabilities for data collection, application function commands and navigation.
