MAP Telecom and Voxpilot Partner

MONACO and DUBLIN, IRELAND - MAP Telecom, the voice activity of Monaco Telecom, has added Voxpilot's VoiceXML platform to its Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platform range with the hopes of expanding its Voice Service Provider (VSP) business to Europe and beyond. Voxpilot's VoiceXML 1.0 and 2.0 compliant platform has implemented the latest W3C standards to enable the deployment of voice-enabled services that integrate with existing Web-based application logic. VSP clients will receive telco-grade hosting for their services at the Monaco Telecom hosting centre, including 24/7 surveillance, high availability, a maximum of security and redundancy. "The close partnership with MAP Telecom allows us to expand and improve our multi-language VoiceXML services, offering our clients telco-grade hosting facilities for their applications," said Jon Alcantara, CEO of Voxpilot. "Monaco Telecom has chosen Voxpilot's VoiceXML products for its voice activities due to Voxpilot's leading-edge technology and position within the European VoiceXML market." "This operation crystallizes our clear vision on speech technology," said François-Xavier Despret, CEO of MAP Telecom. "Telecom infrastructure and platform investments are no longer risk factors, but enablers of the voice service market. MAP Telecom contributes significantly to the VoiceXML ecosystem that will allow Europe to catch up with the US."
