NMS and tele-apps Bring Video and Voice Services to United Arab Emirates

Telecommunications services platform provider NMS Communications has partnered with regional value-added services provider tele-apps to meet customer demand for new voice and video services in Europe and the Middle East. The partnership will open the United Arab Emirates to new business ventures.

Through this partnership, tele-apps will sell revenue-generating customer contact center services such as interactive voice response (IVR) and ringback tones built on NMS platforms to operators and enterprises throughout the region. Partnering with NMS Communications as a member of the NMS Partner Network will ensure tele-apps builds dependable, easily scalable voice and video value-added services that meet the demands of both operators and enterprises.

"We’re leveraging our call center service creation expertise to deliver high-value video and voice services to key telcos and organizations in the Middle East," said Ramaswamy Nagarajan, regional head of tele-apps Middle East.
tele-apps will use the NMS Open Access media processing and signaling products and the NMS Vision media gateway and signaling server solutions to develop a broad range of services including video short message service (SMS) and dialer systems that provide automated dialing for telemarketing and sales.

"Demand for personalization among subscribers and automation from corporate call centers is rapidly increasing in the Middle East, and in the United Arab Emirates in particular," said Jamie Warter, vice president of marketing at NMS Communications. "tele-apps is in a strategic position to capitalize on that opportunity while also growing sales of NMS platforms in the region."
