SandCherry and Datria Systems have teamed to deliver Datria's field service applications for two-way radios using SandCherry's Voice4 Radio platform. The joint solution offers utility companies and other enterprises with radio-equipped mobile workers a solution that enables them to leverage their investment in radio networks and devices.

Both SandCherry and Datria provide voice-based self-service solutions, allowing users to complete self-service tasks by talking to an application. Users can complete their tasks without having to access the World Wide Web; they take advantage of the telephone network.

Traditionally, voice-enabled self-service applications were only available for either land line or mobile phones. With its Voice4 product line, SandCherry offers a common platform that allows voice-enabled applications to be deployed for phone, two-way radio, multimodal, and push-to-talk devices. Datria has certified its Ticket Management application for phone users on the Voice4 platform and can now offer the same solution to radio users
