Siemens Partners with INTECON to Provide UC to the Federal Government

Siemens Communications and INTECON entered into a strategic partnership that will enable both companies to better service customers in the public and private sectors.

This partnership is significant for Siemens because INTECON is its only channel partner with Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) status. Companies designated as an SDVOSB benefit from the federal government’s mandate to its agencies that they develop strategies and set goals for awarding contracts to SDVOSBs. INTECON’s SDVOSB status will increase the ability of both companies to bid on and win contracts to provide communications and information technology infrastructure to the federal government.

"We look forward to working closely with one of the industry’s leading communications vendors in the federal space," says Barbara Beckner, vice president of telecommunications for INTECON. "Our strategic partnership with Siemens will enable INTECON to continue to provide best-of-breed communications solutions to our customers who wish to improve business processes, collaboration and productivity through Siemens’ products and services."

"Siemens is committed to building a strong channel and targeting vertical markets through strategic partnerships with market leaders such as INTECON," says Rick Fitzgerald, vice president of large to medium enterprise partners at Siemens Communications.
