St. Lukes University Health Network to Deploy M*Modal

The central Pennsylvania healthcare system will implement M*Modal's Fluency Direct and CDI Engage solutions.

St. Luke's University Health Network in central Pennsylvania has selected M*Modal's artificial intelligence-powered, cloud-based speech recognition and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) solutions. St. Luke's will deploy the technology across seven hospitals and more than 200 outpatient facilities serving patients in nine counties in two states.

M*Modal Fluency Direct will help St. Luke's standardize clinical documentation workflows across the enterprise and enable its more than 1,300 clinicians to document directly and accurately in their electronic health record systems from any location, using any device. Adopting a single-vendor approach, St. Luke's University Health Network will consolidate EHR systems and migrate its ambulatory practices to Epic by 2018. During this transition, physicians will be able to continue creating complete and compliant notes using the M*Modal documentation system for improved EHR adoption and physician productivity.

In addition to M*Modal Fluency Direct, St. Luke's will also deploy M*Modal CDI Engage to improve clinical and financial outcomes. M*Modal CDI Engage automates the identification and correction of common specificity deficiencies.
