iVoice Speech Enables Gold Kist

iVoice, a developer of speech recognition technology, announced the installation of its Speech Enabled Auto Attendant at the Atlanta headquarters of Gold Kist, the second largest and farmer-owned chicken processor in the United States.

With a large number extensions and departments, contacting the correct individual is now done by spoken voice with the iVoice Speech Enabled Auto Attendant which was installed at Gold Kist's corporate headquarters using regular station ports connected to the existing telephone system.

"Our customers are able to quickly reach any of our corporate staff by simply dialing one number and saying the person's name. Having this feature has also eliminated the need for a Gold Kist phone directory. Internally, we simply, call the iVoice extension and say the person's name" said Sandra Kearney, vice president Information Services for Gold Kist.

"We are pleased to have been able to provide a critical communication component to a very successful operation," said Jerry Mahoney of iVoice.
