Jeff Randol, founder, chairman, and CEO of VoiceVerified, and Wayne Cluff, VoiceVerified’s president, have been named finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The awards program is now in its 21st year. It recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national, and global level who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Randol and Cluff were selected as finalists from nearly 40 nominations by a panel of independent judges. With decades of combined experience, both Randol and Cluff have played key roles in the evolution of VoiceVerified.

Under Randol’s leadership, VoiceVerified, which is based in New Hope, Pa., has evolved from a developer of integrated voice solutions to a managed provider of voice biometric identity verification services. Randol led the development, patenting, and commercialization of the company’s on-demand voice authentication service.

Cluff directs VoiceVerified’s sales and marketing efforts and played a key role in the development and patent of VoiceVerified’s on-demand service delivery model, which allows connectivity from anywhere.

“I am honored to be recognized as a finalist for this prestigious award,” Randol said in a statement. “VoiceVerified is comprised of talented innovators committed to leveraging biometric technology to increase consumer privacy and security. I credit the dedication and ongoing efforts of the entire VoiceVerified team for positioning the company as a leader in this emerging space.”

“It is a testament to our people, our technology and our unique approach to security to be recognized among the nation’s most outstanding entrepreneurs,” Cluff added. “VoiceVerified’s team of experts have developed a superior solution to combat the overwhelming problems of identity theft, data breaches, and security threats. Both Jeff and I are proud to represent this team.”

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 national program. National award winners will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif., Nov. 17. The national award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
