Adherence Technologies Selects Envox 6 to Power Speech and VoIP Solutions

Adherence Technologies has selected Envox 6 to power its AccuNurse product. AccuNurse is a speech-enabled system designed to educate staff as well as streamline staff activities and communications.

The AccuNurse solution is a speech-activated, hands-free documentation and communication system that the nursing staff of senior care facilities can use to review resident care plans, and document care as it takes place. Nursing assistants can communicate via a wireless AccuNurse headset.  AccuNurse also includes reporting capabilities.

Speech recognition technology from ScanSoft, combined with VoIP technology, allows staff members to communicate resident information directly to the AccuNurse database. 

Envox 6 is a communications development platform with integrated application development and management components. Envox 6 provides a bridge between legacy systems and new voice solutions. Using Envox 6, developers can create a range of voice solutions through standards and technologies, including VoiceXML, speech recognition, VoIP and Web services.
