, using STR's StarCaster TTS technology. The Trenton VOLMET is used by the military to automatically broadcast aviation weather to military aircraft across
Canada and several European sites.
The system was active as of July 7, 2004. STR has previously won contracts to provide automated VOLMET broadcasts in Gander , Newfoundland and New York using the same StarCaster TTS technology.
