Clarity adds Doney, Houy to Commercial Delivery Team

TROY, MI - Clarity Technologies Inc. announced that it has added two individuals to its commercial delivery team. Tom Houy joins Clarity from IBM as vice president of marketing for Clarity Technologies Inc. as well as taking on the roll as general manager of ClarityLabs, where he will be responsible for the delivery and sales for all ClarityLabs services. Dave Doney joins Clarity from Agere Systems as senior director of sales and will be responsible for sales in the U.S. with an emphasis on automotive sales in the U.S. and abroad for all appropriate CVC products. "I have known the management team at Clarity for almost 4 years and have been impressed with the business they have built," said Houy. "I was eager to get back into an earlier stage business where I could make a significant and immediate contribution. The momentum at Clarity is truly remarkable and my 6 years in the voice industry can be utilized at Clarity including taking on the opportunity to make ClarityLabs a voice industry standard certification house." "I have worked with many of the talented folks at Clarity in their previous positions while at Agere collaborating on the delivery of hands-free solutions for mutual customers," said Doney.
