CommuniGate and Voxeo Partner to Simplify Enterprise VoIP and Data Communications

--CommuniGate Systems, a scalable carrier-class Internet Communications solutions provider, and Voxeo Corporation, a provider of premise and hosted VoIP and IVR systems, announced an agreement that will enable both companies to offer affordable turnkey communications servers. Code named project Office Lingo, the offering combines standards-based IP-PBX, speech-enabled IVR, conferencing, presence, and unified messaging into an all-in-one enterprise communication system that eliminates the cost and complexity associated with procuring, integrating, and deploying each component separately.

"We do not have a full-time IT department in our business, but we needed a modern IP-based PBX, and realized speech recognition could save us a ton in customer care. We also never had the full benefits of email and calendaring, because we were using an ISP that only offered Web mail. Project Office Lingo will be based on an integration of CommuniGate Pro to Voxeo's Prophecy Voice Platform with the full spectrum of delivery from turnkey appliance to fully hosted and service models.
