Comverse Establishes Relationship With VoiceObjects

HANNOVER, GERMANY - Comverse, a unit of Comverse Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: CMVT), and a supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communications services, announced that it has established a relationship with VoiceObjects AG to make VoiceObjects Factory available on the Comverse Media Server. The Comverse Media Server is a modular, standards-based VoiceXML gateway for delivering voice-activated and interactive voice response (IVR) services in wireline and wireless networks. The Media Server integrates technologies that enable network service providers to host a large number of voice applications. VoiceObjects Factory creates a friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface) based service creation environment that contains elements such as online dialog personalization and configuration editors. The combined offering benefits service providers by creating a way to deliver voice applications, including infotainment and voice portal services. The service creation environment enables service providers to reduce development and training resources formerly needed to design and deploy voice-controlled enhanced services and increases the control they have over how, when, and to whom new services are launched.
