Datria Systems and Nuance to Deliver Workforce Management Applications to TELUS

MENLO PARK, CA and ENGLEWOOD, CO - Datria Systems, the developer of voice enabled mobile solutions for workforce automation and Nuance (NASDAQ: NUAN) announced that TELUS, a communications provider in Canada, has selected the companies to provide a series of voice-enabled workforce applications for use by their field technicians. The new voice-driven applications will be fully deployed early next year to over 6,000 of TELUS' field service technicians. Aimed at reducing the cost of field operations and improving customer service, the Datria designed voice applications will allow TELUS technicians to access and update customer and procedural information from a host of enterprise systems including Oracle(r) and SAP(r) using voice commands. Using any cellular telephone, technicians will be able to access and submit vehicle mileage reports, report additional customer requested installations or repairs and log their hours worked into the TELUS time reporting system.
