Eastern Distributing Acquires SRT Distribution

Eastern Distributing of Mahwah, N.J., a wholesaler of dictation equipment in North America, acquired the speech recognition distribution company, SRT Distribution, SRT Distribution (SRT) of Excelsior, Minn.  In 1996 SRT became a distributor of Dragon NaturallySpeaking, ScanSoft's voice recognition software.  SRT has developed a network of resellers on behalf of ScanSoft.

Utilizing five distribution centers, Eastern Distributing has a national network of digital dictation products and resellers.
