Eicon Networks Announces Support for Envox 6 Communications Development Platform

MONTREAL — Eicon Networks Corporation announced that it has integrated the Diva Server product line with the Envox 6 Communications Development Platform from Envox Worldwide.  Eicon will provide Diva Server customers with integrated access to Envox 6's application development software for deployment of a wide range of voice solution including IVR and enhanced self-service, speech and conferencing solutions.  Additionally, compatibility with Envox 6 brings support for an array of communications and IT technologies and standards in the industry, including speech products, VoiceXML and Web services to the Diva Server family of communications adapters along with system integration and administration capabilities.

The Diva Server telephony adapters provide a full set of voice processing functions including tone detection and generation, voice activity detection and echo cancellation. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is provided to automatically adjust the signal level of calls within a conference or for recording at normal levels. Onboard DSPs perform these operations in real-time. Up to eight Diva Server adapters - offering two to 240 channels - can be installed and operated concurrently in a single server. Any type of Diva Server adapter - Analog, ISDN BRI, ISDN PRI, or E1/T1, can be mixed and matched.

All Diva Server adapters conform to Plug and Play standards, eliminating the need to manually configure your server. Diva Server telephony adapters are ready to be used with all state-of-the-art operating systems, offering drivers for both Microsoft Windows and Linux. Diva Server drivers for Windows are officially certified by the Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).
