Eicon Networks and Vocalocity Enter Voice Browser Alliance

NEW YORK - Eicon Networks Corporation and Vocalocity have entered into a strategic OEM alliance.  Vocalocity will integrate its VocalOS framework to Eicon Networks' Diva Server platform.

Vocalocity's VoiceXML 2.1 Voice Browser manages telephony, automatic speech recognition (ASR), text-to-speech (TTS), DTMF, third party or custom services, media, and other needed resources.

The Diva Server telephony adapters provide a set of voice processing functions including tone detection and generation, voice activity detection and echo cancellation.

Up to eight Diva Server adapters - offering two to 240 channels - can be installed to operate concurrently in a server.  Any type of Diva Server adapter - Analog, ISDN BRI, ISDN PRI, or E1/T1, can work together in the same server. Diva Server adapters conform to Plug and Play standards. Diva Server adapters are ready to be used with operating systems, offering drivers for both Microsoft Windows and Linux. Diva Server drivers for Windows are certified by the Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).
