Elan Text to Speech and Sistel Assist Visually Impaired Operators; Reverso Voice : Smart and Talkative Personal Tool Translation

Sistel, an Italian company dedicated to tailor-made software solutions, has chosen Elan text to speech to assist visually impaired operators in their daily work. With Elan text to speech, the system developed by Sistel identifies visual information displayed on the PBX such as incoming numbers display or Led signals to transmit it vocally. Visually impaired operators can manage and transfer calls as well as all the associated information. Marketed in Italy, Sistel system has already been adopted by major companies such as Matra or Nortel.

Softissimo, a provider to the translation software publishing market, has chosen Elan text to speech to voice enable ReversoVoice, translation software to both translate and pronounce any IT-generated text, including e-mails or web pages. With a single click, the end user can listen to the typed or translated text, respecting accentuation and pronunciation rules, with customizabled parameters such as male or female voices, British English or American English.
