Empire Medicare Services Wins Most Innovative Solution Award

MANASSAS, Va. - MicroAutomation is proud to announce that Empire Medicare Services (EMS) is one of the recipients of Speech Technology Magazine's Most Innovative Solution Award. "This prestigious award is given to creative and innovative speech solution deployments that demonstrate overwhelming success," said Dan Abernathy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MicroAutomation.  "It's a well deserved award for their ability to raise customer service in their industry to a whole new level."

EMS will be participating at this year's SpeechTEK conference in New York City August 1 - August 4.  Elisa Elderbaum of EMS will speak about the solution on Monday, August 1, at 10:00am.

On Tuesday, August 2, at 8:00am, EMS will be receiving the Most Innovative Solution award.

The EMS call center solution is a full voice self-service application that allows health care providers, doctors' offices, and billing service representatives to retrieve information such as patient eligibility, claim status, deductible information, procedure code pricing, payment information, commonly requested phone numbers, addresses, Web sites and seminar information with efficiency and speed. Additionally, because the solution was written in VoiceXML, it will allow Empire the option to provide this same information to their "customers" via the web as well.

Empire Medicare Services is one of the largest Medicare contractors in the United States, providing services under contracting arrangements with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
