Envox Worldwide Positioned in the Influential Magic Quadrant

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Gartner, Inc., a research and advisory firm, positioned Envox Worldwide in the Visionaries Quadrant of its Magic Quadrant for IVR Systems and Enterprise Voice Portals, 2006 report. This report evaluates vendors according to a set criteria including completeness of vision and ability to execute within the IVR and Voice Portal market. 

The Envox voice solutions combine:

  • IP telephony
  • Personalized customer interactions - Envox-based IVR solutions enable information flow through CTI capabilities such as screen pops.
  • Natural language speech user interfaces
  • Business systems integration - Envox solutions are based on IT and communications standards so they integrate with existing business systems such as the PBX, CRM system, order entry system, and enterprise application servers.
  • Web technologies - Envox solutions leverage VoiceXML and Web services.

Of the Completeness of Vision axis, the report, authored by analysts Steve Cramoysan, Bern Elliot, and Drew Kraus, noted that "Gartner analysts evaluate voice response platform providers on their ability to convincingly articulate logical statements about current and future market direction, innovation, customer needs and competitive forces, as well as how well they map to the Gartner position. Ultimately, a voice response platform provider's 'Completeness of Vision' rating is based on its understanding of how market forces can be exploited to create an opportunity for the provider and for its clients."
