Erlanger Health Furthers M*Modal Partnership

M*Modal announced an expanded relationship with Erlanger Health System to deliver exclusive outsourced transcription and front-end speech recognition technologies. Erlanger has selected M*Modal Fluency Flex to bring greater efficiency and cost savings in creating reports and documenting patient records.

M*Modal Fluency Flex is a document creation module within the M*Modal Fluency for Transcription cloud-based Speech Understanding platform. With M*Modal Fluency Flex, physicians have the ability to use real-time, front-end speech recognition to either self-edit documents or send them to transcription for review and editing. With the self-edit option, physicians also have immediate access to the final report, which they can then sign electronically. To support the natural and individual work flows of physicians, M*Modal Fluency Flex provides physicians with additional document creation capabilities so that they can focus on patient care.

Erlanger, a nonprofit organization with five medical campuses and over 1,000 beds, treats more than 250,000 patients every year. M*Modal has provided Erlanger with transcription services for more than 10 years.
