Fonix Delivers Speech Solution To Eintech

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - Fonix Corporation (OTC BB: FONX), a provider of natural-user interface technology, announced that the Fonix DECtalk formant-based speech synthesizer has been selected by Eintech Co. Ltd., a Korean provider of multi-media language learning devices, to drive Eintech's Magic Talker's Personal Bilingual Assistant. Magic Talker's model EK-D8800 is now available to enable users to learn English via Fonix DECtalk's Text-To-Speech (TTS) technology. Eintech has guaranteed an initial purchase of 100,000 copies of Fonix DECtalk for use with Magic Talker's. A new, ultra-small version of Fonix' speech software has been implemented for Magic Talker's, which carries all necessary conversational information to store and produce language tasks within a single memory chip. What's more, Magic Talker's offers a 160,000-word English/Korean dictionary and a 100,000-word Korean/English dictionary, allowing users to check the meaning of the word by touching the word on the LCD screen.
