Intervoice Signs Managed Services Contract

DALLAS, TX - Intervoice Inc. (Nasdaq: INTV), a developer of converged voice and data solutions, announced a channel partnership with Precision Response Corporation (PRC), a provider of customer care services, to flexibly deliver and manage voice applications to PRC's customer base. Through the partnership with Intervoice, PRC clients can choose from a range of deployment options including hosted solutions and managed services where systems can be managed within the client's own environments, in a network co-location facility or at an Intervoice hosting facility. Intervoice offers this flexible alternative to owning and operating an extensive communications infrastructure to PRC clients as a means to reduce their operational costs, improve customer satisfaction and promote product and service differentiation. Through its Managed Services offering, Intervoice provides turnkey management and monitoring of network-based services, applications and equipment, thereby offering enterprises and carriers enhanced flexibility, security and reliability. "Our partnership with Intervoice gives PRC a significant opportunity to provide our clients with voice applications from the long-standing industry leader within a bundled offering of CRM services that not only give them flexible deployment options, but also opportunities for cost reductions and improved service delivery," said Wes O'Brien, PRC CEO. "We conducted a thorough evaluation of all the key players in the managed service arena and Intervoice was the clear leader in all three key areas of our criteria: flexible deployment options for our clients, a breadth of enhanced speech solutions and unparalleled large-scale speech implementation experience. We are very excited about this relationship, and view this as one of our key drivers of growth and focus over the next three years," added O'Brien. PRC is a division of USA Interactive. "PRC's recognized leadership in providing outsourced solutions to the call center industry for over 20 years coupled with Intervoice's two decades of experience in voice application development, deployment and management, is a strong blend of expertise and synergy," said Bob Ritchey, President of Intervoice. "Intervoice Managed Services will offer PRC clients maximum flexibility and enhanced services that are managed and maintained by a Company whose entire history is in voice technology development."
